1. Purpose
8PROXY provides a local proxy server on an Android device that you own or legally control. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws and with the terms of your mobile carrier, websites, and services you access.
2. Acceptable use
You may use 8PROXY for lawful personal or commercial purposes, including testing, development, administration of your own systems, and privacy protection.
3. Prohibited use
- Unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Bypassing technical restrictions in violation of law or contract.
- Malware distribution, spam, fraud, or phishing.
- Infringing the rights of third parties.
- Providing endpoint access without reasonable security controls.
4. User responsibility
You are responsible for port, authentication, and /newip key configuration, local network security, mobile data usage, and the effects of IP rotation. Never expose the local control endpoint to an untrusted network.
5. Software
The application is provided “as is.” Rotation availability depends on the Android version, device manufacturer, permissions, Digital Assistant settings, carrier, and mobile plan. All rights in the proprietary project are reserved.
